Easy Shooting Anywhere
The size of the D5600 is approximately 124mm in width, 97mm in height and 70mm in depth. While the measurements are the same as those of the D5500, the body weighs about 415g, which is 5g lighter than its predecessor (approximately 420g). Also, by adopting a monocoque structure that makes use of reinforced plastic, the body of the D5600 is amazingly slim for a D-SLR camera.
With the thickness of the body reduced, the grip is now deeper, which delivers a firm hold despite the small size of the body. The D5600 offers both a compact size that makes it highly portable as well as an excellent design that provides a stable grip.
Superbs image quality thanks to the 24-megapixel resolution and large APS-C size sensor!
The D5600 employs Nikon’s DX-format (APS-C size) CMOS sensor with an effective resolution of about 24.16 megapixels and the EXPEED 4 as the image processor. The high-resolution image sensor works together with the image processor to reproduce the details of the subject beautifully. This is illustrated in the example above with the fine feathers of the bird faithfully resolved.
Detalis at its finest
The DX-format CMOS sensor of the D5600 boasts an effective resolution of approximately 24.16 megapixels. This, combined with the EXPEED 4 image processor, achieves an ISO sensitivity setting of up to 25600, which allows users to photograph a nightscape or in a dimly-lit room without having to worry about camera shake.
